Okay, it was a bit assholish… 

But I’m pretty darn sure that Michael’s trying to protect Alex here, and Nathan for that matter. He knows what happened to Nikita when she got too close to someone, and despite the fact that he has serious suspicions now that she’s working with Nikita he’s doing all he can to protect Alex from getting hurt and Nathan from getting killed. 

People need to get off his back.
